Swiss-Ski
How we support the Swiss Ski Federation in the area of video.

Newsroom has been supporting the Swiss Ski newsroom as a reliable partner in the video area since 2018 and was involved in the conception of the newsroom in advance.

From October to the end of March, the winter sports season is in full swing for sports professionals. As a partner of Swiss-Ski, however, we are not only involved in the production of video content during the hot phase – we operate a corporate newsroom and our own content hub together with the Swiss Ski Association throughout the year.
Our commitment.

To support the Swiss Ski newsroom and the association’s digital communications, we produce a wide range of stories: For example, we accompanied the speed skiers* in summer training on the glacier in Zermatt, were there when all Swiss Ski athletes* received their new equipment for the coming season, portrayed up-and-coming athletes in the run-up to the Junior Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide, accompanied Jakob Schöffel on his adventures during moguls and aerials training with the ski crossers, and presented telemark sports in greater detail with a four-part series. The highlight of each season is the Swiss ski races in St. Moritz, Adelboden, Wengen and Crans-Montana, where we are present on site. In addition to our own cameras, we cut a highlight clip at each race featuring the best Swiss athletes and the best race pictures of the day. To ensure that Swiss Ski can always feed its channels with the latest stories, we also conduct spontaneous interviews, which we cut and edit within a few hours.

Results.

Since the beginning of the collaboration, we have already realized over 40 background stories, conducted numerous interviews and produced over 100 short videos. With our stories, Swiss-Ski is able to give its ski fans unusual and exciting insights into the world of the world’s best winter athletes. Thanks to Newsroom, Swiss-Ski has also been able to successfully market the content area.
